Joseph R. McGue
Joseph R. McGue, a resident of Beacon, New York entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 30, 2008. He was 45.

McGrue was born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 4, 1962 to Joyce M. Winfield McGue and the late Henry McGue. A retired Correctional Officer of Downstate Correction Facility, he is survived by his mother, Joyce M. Winfield McGue of Dallas, Texas; Companion, Christina Reeves of Beacon; Three sons, Joseph R. McGue and George H. McGue both of Poughkeepsie and James H. McGue of Texas; Four brothers, Henry W. McGue and wife Jessie of Florida, Kevin H. McGue and wife Teresa of Poughkeepsie, James M. McGue of Kingston, New York and Philip Widget of Poughkeepsie; Four sisters, Barbara Ann Carrington and husband Charlie of Tacoma, Washington, Dorothy Didymus and husband Charles of Poughkeepsie, Frances Dancey and husband Cleveland of North Carolina and Evelyn McGue of Texas. A host of nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, July 11, 2008 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rhodes Funeral Homes Chapel, 43 Fairview Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Community Mausoleum, Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.

Funeral procession will depart Rhodes Funeral Homes 43 Fairview Avenue Poughkeepsie, New York 12601 at 9:30am on Saturday July 12, 2008.

Elder Dwight Hunt will officiate.
