Lucian E. Green
Lucian E. Green a current Milton, New York resident and former resident of Dutchess County, New York for 23 years, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital in the Town of Poughkeepsie, New York. He was 60.

Green was a Health Coordinator for New Horizon Resources in Pleasant Valley, New York and a Residential Program Specialist for Anderson Center for Autism in Staatsburg, New York. He was very near completion of his Bachelor’s Degree at the State University of New York at New Paltz.

Green was born January 29, 1948 in Charleston, South Carolina to Dorothy Coaxum Green and the late Jake Green. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of twenty years, Gwendolyn Williams Green at home; Loving mother, Dorothy Coaxum Green of Hampton, Virginia; Mother-in-law, Willie Beatrice Moore of Poughkeepsie; One son, Michael Schivers of Jersey City, New Jersey; Two daughters, Donna Schivers of Jersey City, New Jersey and Lominta Davis of Poughkeepsie; Twelve sisters: Elizabeth Whitney of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Barbara White of Hampton, Virginia, Beatrice George and Barbara Jean Thomas both of Jersey City, New Jersey, Essie Peterson of Chesapeake, Virginia, Betty Russ, Cynthia Green and Priscilla Green all of Jersey City, New Jersey, Hope Lacey of Indianapolis, Indiana, O’Lisha Thomas of Capitol Hill, Maryland, Frances Murray of Hillside, New Jersey and Yvonne Newton of Pennsylvania; Brother; Guillermo Dabney; In-laws: Carolyn Roberts, Juanita Jackson, both of Texas, Lorraine Williams, Joe Williams, Christine Williams and Harvey Boniface all of Poughkeepsie, Sandra Williams and Denise Bilal both of Colorado, Nadine and Rafiq Williams of New Jersey, Jeffrey and Donna Williams of Schenectady, New York and Kathy and Tim Bailey of Hyde Park, New York; Four grandchildren, Jaquan, Nigel, Rahsaan and Isaiah. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by father and stepmother, Jake and Pearl Green and Brother-in-law, Lawrence Williams.

Visitation will take place on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Rhodes Funeral Homes Chapel, 43 Fairview Avenue, Poughkeepsie, New York. Service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 11:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Rhodes Funeral Homes Chapel, 43 Fairview Avenue, Poughkeepsie, New York.  The Reverend Robert L. Bruce, Officiating.

Interment will be at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery Poughkeepsie, New York.
