Roland Willis Sr., a thirty Five year resident of the Town on Newburgh, New York passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at the age of 59.
The retired Cook from United States Military Academy at West Point, New York enetered into rest at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, New York
Born June 6, 1948 in Lumberton, North Carolina to the late James McArthur and Eva Earl Willis. He is survived by his loving Venice Williams at home; One son, Roland Willis, Jr. of Newburgh, New York; Four daughters, Patricia Judd and Martine Willis both of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, Denisha Brown of Newburgh and Mitzi Reese of Wilmington, Delaware; One brother, Luther Willis of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Three sisters, Linda Faye Saddlewhite and Eva Marie Williams both of Raleigh, North Carolina and Crishawna Brown of Newburgh; Nine grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will take place on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Church of God by Faith, 29 Bridge Street, Newburgh, New York. Service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Church of God by Faith, 29 Bridge Street, Newburgh, New York. Elder Robert Kent, Officiating.
Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery Middlehope, New Windsor, New York. |
