Vernell Denice Caesar the daughter of Marilyn Caesar and the late Harry Hastings Dobson, Sr.
She was born on July 26, 1964 at Fordham Hospital, Bronx, New York. She departed this life on Monday June 2, 2008 at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. She was 43 years old.
Vernell attended St. John’s head start program at the age of five. She also attended P.S 2 Elementary School, Junior High 148 and Walton High School. Vernell recently became a member of the Whosoever Church in the Bronx. Vernell was a caregiver for special needs children for approximately two years and do to her health she was unable to continue her career. She enjoyed playing poker and shooting pool. Vernell did not have a problem letting people know what was on her mind. She was small in statue but stood up for what she believed.
Vernell leaves to mourn her loving mother, Marilyn Caesar at home; Five brothers, Allen Caesar and Keith Caesar both of the Bronx, Leslie Caesar and wife Jackie of Newburgh, New York, Kevin Caesar of California and Harry Dobson, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia; One sister, Harrien Dobson of the Bronx; Five nephews, Allen, Jr., LaShawn and Nebraska all of the Bronx, Leslie II and Justin both of Newburgh; Four nieces, Cierra of Newburgh, Andrean (Pookie), Shalena and Tiffany all of the Bronx; Two aunts, Sylvia Polite and Guinette Romaine and husband Douglass all of the Bronx; Special cousin, Nettie and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, close friends, other relatives and many friends. Vernell was predeceased by her father Harry Hastings Dobson, Sr.
