James McMillan Jr



James McMillian, Jr. passed away on Monday March 3, 2008 at home. The 62-year-old was a Self Employed Laborer that was a fifty nine year resident of Newburgh. James was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Poughkeepsie, New York and a Vietnam Army Veteran.

James was born January 1, 1946 in Raeford, North Carolina to James McMillan, Sr. and the late Lula Burnett.

He is survived by a loving father, James McMillan of Raeford, North Carolina; Special Friend, Consuelo Hill of Newburgh, New York; One daughter, Charlotte Little of Poughkeepsie, New York; Five brothers, Edison Mauldin, Jr. and wife Josephine, Raymond Burnett and wife Shelia, Archie Mauldin and Rodney Folk all of Newburgh, New York; Four sisters, Angela Mauldin, Jacklyn Mauldin and Alice Mauldin all of Newburgh, New York and Gwen Hill of Richmond, Virginia. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Service will take place on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the House of Refuge, 127-131 Broadway in Newburgh, New York with Bishop Jeffrey C. Woody, Officiating.

Cremation will be at the convenience of the family.
