LaToya’s right, but what about Murray?

Chris Stevenson

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever see myself agreeing with LaToya Jackson on one of her traditionally wild statements. But on July 13 during an interview she went public with her conclusions that Michael was murdered. She based this on the evasive behavior of his doctors, missing money, jewelry and medical equipment that seemed suspicious to her.

Weeks later an LA County Coroner supported her claim, ruling Jackson’s death a homicide. On 2/8 Conrad Murray was charged with involuntary manslaughter by LA prosecutors. This is confirmation to me the fix is on, what I’ve been hearing that based on such a low ball charge of murder, Murray may just wind up doing probation. Now I ask you, when have you ever known the criminal justice system to show a lack of enthusiasm to send a black man to prison? Especially in connection to murder of any kind? Any kind of murder, any kind of Manslaughter a black suspect is gonna do time. Hands down.

"If you go to the book store down the corner you won’t see one black person on the cover. You’ll see Elvis Presley, you’ll see the Rolling Stones... you gotta remember something, the minute I started breaking the all-time record in record sales-I broke Elvis records, I broke Beatles records-the minute I became the all-time best selling album in the history of the Guinness Book of World Records, overnight they called me a freak, they called me a homosexual, they called me a child molester. They said I tried to bleach my skin, they made up everything to try to turn the public against me. This is all a complete conspiracy, you have to know that." Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson gave white America something it wishes other black icons would give them; too much access into his private life. That may have been Michael’s lone conspiracy against himself. He gave them enough access for them to destroy him. Every black icon is a threat to unite blacks against the system of white supremacy even if they aren’t aware of it. There are those like Tiger Woods who deliberately want no connection with anything black. Michael’s asset was his power in uniting people all over. It’s potential that the white power structure is always fearful of, if he can unite the world’s youth, then he can unite blacks the world over. He can unite the poor across the globe. That’s what they always fear.

Michael has been a dilemma to the few who make decisions and control the wealth, especially in Hollywood. From the time he broke with the Jehovah’s Witnesses (White Supremacy institutions have little interest in the JWs except they envy the tight control they have over their members, particularly the blacks) to his complaints about the recording industry and the former head of Sony Tommy Matola being racist. There was his revelations that he approached big name producers and executives about doing a film for black children that showed them ancient Egyptian culture. "They turned me down," said Jackson in an interview. Those may have been the silent downturn we missed.

What seems to be in question is the period between the last rehearsal that went past midnight into early June 25th, the same rehearsal where an eyewitness said Michael had great energy. The time period where Michael was administered propofol by a man who knew neither his patients home address nor how to do CPR., until the time paramedics arrived at Jackson’s home at 12:26pm (He was pronounced dead exactly two hours later at 2:26pm). Shortly after Jackson’s death Murray went into hiding only to re-emerge for his arrest and court dates. If convicted it’s believed he’ll face minimal punishment. I think they should throw the book at him and the unseen faces behind him.

Completely overlooked in any investigation is the promoter of Jackson’s "This Is It" tour; Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) headed by Philip Anschutz. To me the entire mess rings of Auschwitz, but Michael’s extermination camp was one of forced drugs, forced labor and eventually death. AEG Live even paid Murray to "act as the singer’s personal Physician." Anschutz is a billionaire oil man who went on to become possibly the world’s quietest media mogul. He also owns the Weekly Standard, the Washington Examiner and 100 Examiner subsidiaries. He is known among his peers as being greedy, his ties to Michael seemed to some at the outset as being suspicious and shouldn’t dissipate since his death.

AEG Live you see, owns a part of "This Is It." Two of the film’s producers are said to be AEG Live suits; Randy Philips and Paul Gongaware. London’s O2 Area is owned by AEG Worldwide as well as the Staples Center, where the rehearsal footage of "This is it" was shot and of course the site of Michael’s Memorial Service. Michael may have met Anschutz through the same man who bought the Neverland Ranch, Thomas Barrack. A Fundamentalist Christian conservative, Anschutz is noted to believe everything is a sell. Oddly enough he was to pay Michael $1 million a night for those London concerts. After Michael passed AEG offered to send "souvenir" tickets to fans who waived their refund of the ticket price. Maybe the world is not enough to Anschutz, but Conrad Murray’s lone prosecution is not enough for Michael to rest in peace.
