WEST POINT – The Army men’s basketball program completed its 2014-15 schedule, as well as times for select contests at Christl Arena. Army’s game against Binghamton on Nov. 25 will tip at 7:30 p.m., while its contest versus Bryant on Dec. 9 will start at 7 p.m. The home non-league slate closes with a pair of matinee matchups against Maine (Dec. 21, 1 p.m.) and Coast Guard (Dec. 28, 3 p.m.) before Patriot League play gets underway on New Year’s Eve.
The Black Knights welcome Lafayette to Christl Arena on Dec. 31 for a 3 p.m. tilt as the team aims for its fifth consecutive win over the Leopards. A trip to Baltimore awaits Army when it takes on Loyola in its first conference road game on Jan 3.
Consecutive home matchups with Lehigh (Jan. 7 – 7 p.m.) and Navy (Jan. 10) complete a stretch of five out of six games played at Christl Arena. Head coach Zach Spiker’s team travels for a pair of games at Holy Cross (Jan. 14) and at Bucknell on Jan. 17. The game in Lewisburg, Pa., pits Army against the Bison in a rematch of last season’s Patriot League tournament quarterfinal, won by the Black Knights.
Army returns to West Point on Jan. 21 for a 7 p.m. tipoff with Colgate prior to challenging reigning Patriot League-champion American three days later in the nation’s capital. The Black Knights close the first half of conference action at home versus Boston University on Jan. 28 at 7 p.m.
The month concludes with a Saturday afternoon competition between Army and Loyola at Christl Arena at 3 p.m. (Jan. 31). Army hits the road again to face Lehigh (Feb. 4) in Bethlehem, Pa. and Navy (Feb. 7) in Annapolis, Md. The meeting with Navy at Alumni Hall will be the annual "Star" game between the service academy rivals.
Three of the next four games for Army come at home as Holy Cross, Bucknell and American round out the regular-season schedule at Christl Arena. The Holy Cross tilt is set for 7 p.m. on Feb. 11 and Bucknell visits on Feb. 14 at 3 p.m. A midweek game with Colgate in Hamilton, N.Y. (Feb. 18), interrupts the home stretch before the Eagles come to West Point on Feb. 21 for a 3 p.m. start.
Army’s final two regular-season contests are Feb. 25 & 28.
