NFA Boys Soccer recognized

Newburgh - Athletes from the Newburgh Free Academy Varsity Boys’ Soccer Team were recognized at a recent Newburgh Enlarged City School District Board of Education Meeting for their efforts in becoming the new State Champions. NECSD Superintendent Dr. Annette M. Saturnelli acknowledged the young athletes, District Athletic Director Chris Townsend, and NFA Soccer Coach Matt Iorlano as well as his coaching staff, for their hard work in making this achievement possible. In addition, a proclamation outlining the team’s achievements was read to the audience and a banner recognizing the team as the State Champions was displayed in the auditorium.
