Annandale-on-Hudson - The way things were going, the women’s soccer game between Vassar College and Bard College on Thursday night was going to end either because of a slippery ball eluding the grasp of the goalkeeper, or because of a single moment of brilliance. It was the latter, thanks to Vassar freshman Sarah Bourenane. Bourenane’s goal in the 66th minute, made through sheets of rain and against a strong wind, gave Vassar a 1-0 victory over Bard in a Liberty League match.
