Frontera takes first in Byram Hills Bobcat 5K



Newburgh Free Academy’s Gianna Frontera took first place in the Girls Varsity 5,000 Meters event during the Byram Hills Bobcat 5K Cross Country Invitational.

Armonk - Newburgh Free Academy sophomore Gianna Frontera won the Byram Hills Bobcat 5K Cross Country Invitational on Saturday October 15th. Gianna’s time was 19:12. NFA’s Kalleigh Forrester placed 4th with a time of 21:05. Heritage Middle School eighth grader Chelsea Dunderdale placed second in the 1.5 mile freshman race with a time of 10:39.

Next up for the Newburgh girls is the Division 1 Conference Championship on Tuesday October 18th in Middletown and the Greenwich Invitational on Friday October 21st in Saratoga Springs.
