Anthony Black has been promoted to the rank of chief master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.
Black, a warfighting integration knowledge operations functional manager superintendent, is assigned to Headquarters, Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Andrews Air Force Base, Clinton, Md. He has served in the military for 26 years.
He is the brother of both Rosemary Black of Fleetwood, N.Y., and Veronica Kirkland of Sylvania, Ga.
His wife, Donna, is the daughter of Leo Smith and Brenda Smith of San Antonio, Texas.
The chief master sergeant is a 1983 graduate of Gorton High School, Yonkers, N.Y.
