Immigrants should pay more for SUNY tuition

We also need to charge tuition to illegal immigrants at International student rates. It is completely unfair to students who take the correct approach of applying for a student visa to come to our state to study and pay out-of-state costs and then see other foreign nationals come here on a tourist visa, deliberately overstay it, or those who don’t bother to even go the visa route and just sneak into the country, and then only pay in-state resident rates, some even get scholarships on our tax dollars! NYS residents should only be subsidizing legitimate NYS residents - all others must pay out-of-state rates and full rates at that. But when I tried to FOIL how many illegal immigrants even attend SUNY schools, they refuse to tell us taxpayers!
