Newburgh - Students from Gardnertown Fundamental Magnet School in Newburgh showcased their talents in a special concert recently following the D.R.U.M (Discipline Respect Unity Music) Program as part of their enrichment workshop with musician Jeff Haynes. Haynes has worked with numerous musical greats in the industry during the course of his time in the music business.
Students from the 4th grade classes proudly performed for family members and fellow students before winter break. The performance also included spoken work poems created and written by students. Readers of spoken word poems were Stephanie Miranda, Joseph Maldonado, Ahvionna Brooks, Alexander Arroyo, Halana DeSiervo, Fernando Berrios, Christian Pagan, Jeffrey Muñoz, Sierra Castle, David Sosnick, Arianna Brancato, Kayla Drew, Kayla Maresco, and Aisling Martin.
