Newburgh - Students at Fostertown ETC Magnet School in Newburgh recently performed four showings of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella as the last performance of the school year. The vision of a princess in her sparkling crown and the transformation of a pumpkin into a carriage made for an exciting show for friends, family, classmates, and teachers.
Students in grades 4, 5, and 6 all helped make the play the success that it was according to Principal Maritza Ramos. Students from the classes worked on the castle and background scenery, costuming, the creation of the playbill, props, publicity, set construction, souvenirs, and stage crew.
Since September, there have been two additional large-scale shows at Fostertown, "Go West" and The American Dream.
