Recently, 38 students from the Fall 2008 semester at Ulster County Community College were inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for junior and community colleges.
To join Phi Theta Kappa, a student must have a cumulative average of 3.5 or higher in at least 15 credits in a two-year degree program. Members work on community projects and become eligible for special scholarships when they apply to four-year colleges.
