Poughkeepsie - Assemblyman Frank K. Skartados (D-Milton) announced that his community offices in Newburgh and Poughkeepsie will act as drop-off locations for his annual holiday charity drive, to benefit the Toys for Tots program and the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley.
Residents can drop-off toys and non-perishable goods from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, at his district offices in Newburgh at 190 South Plank Road and Poughkeepsie at One Civic Center Plaza, Rm. 405.
“During this economic downturn, family incomes are already stretched trying to paying for necessities like food and utilities,” Skartados said. “I’m sponsoring this holiday toy and food drive to spread some holiday cheer to Hudson Valley families who might be struggling.”
