Pistol permit privacy form currently available online

KINGSTON - Ulster County Clerk Nina Postupack would like to inform pistol permit holders in Ulster County that the form which will allow holders to opt out of having his or her name and address made available to the public became accessible online on February 18, 2013.

Ulster County Clerk Nina Postupack emphasizes to holders that this form must be filed in a timely basis, noting that "pistol permit holders have 60 days from the date the form becomes available to file in the Clerk’s Office."

The form is available on the Clerk’s website at or by emailing or by contacting the County Clerk’s Office at (845) 340- 3040.

According to County Clerk Postupack, "It is the goal of our office to make this form easily available to all pistol permit holders. Upon receipt of the completed form our office will immediately seal the holder’s documents."
