"I am truly humbled and honored to be selected by my colleagues as Democratic Conference Leader for the New York State Senate. I look forward to advocating for the progressive agenda that the people of New York have demanded. Moving forward, I will work with my colleagues in the Republican and IDC Coalition to ensure that the progressive issues that both the Governor and our conference believe in are advanced. Andrea Stewart-Cousins is the New York State Senator for the 35th district representing Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Elmsford, Greenburgh, Hastings-on-Hudson, Irvington, Mount Pleasant, Pleasantville, Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, and Yonkers.
