Collapsed building on Broadway

Newburgh - The roof of a vacant building collapsed under the weight of about a foot of snow on the corner of Broadway and Clark Street in the City of Newburgh.

City firefighters responded and blocked off the area with yellow caution tape. Some of the debris spilled out onto the sidewalk.

After almost two feet of snow fell on parts of the Hudson Valley Thursday, local firefighters and police had their hands filled as they dealt with a storm that knocked out power to most of the city.
