Newburgh - On Saturday, December 5th, Keith Gifft was welcomed into the community as he officially opened Game Time Sports Cafe at 40 Liberty Street. The location, a block away from historic Washington Headquarters, has already begun it’s revitalization in downtown Newburgh.

Imagine a 16-year-old kid coming to the United States with no family, no work experience, but with a dream of someday becoming an entrepreneur with the ability to help others become more productive and reach their full potential. That kid was Keith Gifft.

Born and raised in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, until the age of 16, Gifft turned his dream into a reality. Being good with his hands, he became a full fledge carpenter by the age of 18. Since then he has successfully started up his own construction business called KG Constructions. From the success of his construction company, he has been able to reach another dream, which was to own several real estate properties.

Although he has realized several parts of his dream, such as having a family and kids, which were born and raised in Orange County, something was still missing for him. And now Gifft has finally reached his dream by opening up what he hopes will soon become a premier sports cafe.

Gifft describes the atmosphere as light, family oriented and relaxing. "A place where people can come, have a bite to eat and enjoy their favorite sporting events." Along with the many wide screen televisions, patrons will also find a pool table and a hearty menu that’s served up seven days a week. A live DJ will be featured on weekends and Gifft hopes to have live bands added to the line up in the near future.
