Goshen - Orange County Executive Edward A. Diana joined with Orange County Veterans Service Director Tony Zippo and members of the Orange County Veterans Coalition: Dave McTamaney, Frank Gilner, Ken Zipp, Tim Dempsey, Skip O’Donnell, Jim Bruno and Bob Ibe as they packed and delivered meals for over 70 veterans and their families.
“I want to personally thank the members of the Orange County Veterans Coalition for organizing and running this great program,” Diana said. “The members of this coalition continue their service to our nation and their fellow veterans each and every day of the year.”
Added Director Zippo, “Once again we see the positive results of veterans helping other veterans. We were together in service and we continue to keep faith with our brothers and sisters long after we have left active duty.”
The Orange County Veterans Coalition is open to veterans who live in Orange County and meets the second Tuesday of every month to discuss and work on veterans’ issues at the local, state and national level.
