Newburgh - Mobile Life Support Services, located in Newburgh, recently made a leadership gift to the Newburgh Family YMCA in support of their 2009 Strong Kids Campaign. Gayle Metzger, CEO of Mobile Life, said "The Newburgh Family YMCA continues to provide valuable programs and services to the local community and we are proud to participate and lead the campaign with our gift."

This year’s Campaign, co-chaired by Kurt Najork, Chief Operating Officer of Collection Bureau of the Hudson Valley and Michael Waters, Branch Manager of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, seeks donations to provide scholarships and financial assistance to local kids so they may participate in YMCA programs.

Trish Fisher, YMCA President and CEO, said "Mobile Life’s generous contribution keeps childhood in our neighborhood and we are grateful that they continue to support us in building strong kids, strong families and strong communities." She added, "With their gift we are well on our way to meet this year’s goal, but every donation, large or small, is needed to reach that goal. "

For more information about the campaign or YMCA programs, contact Marlene Stang, Director of Marketing and Development at 845 562-1088 or visit www.newburghymca.org.
