Edward A. Diana ‘68 Scholarship Formed at SUNY Orange

Carmen R. Dubaldi, Jr. presents the first checks of the Edward A. Diana ’68 Scholarship for $10,000 to Vinnie Cazzetta, SUNY Orange Vice President for Institutional Advancement.

MIDDLETOWN - SUNY Orange President Bill Richards along with the SUNY Orange Foundation Chairman Rich Rowley recently announced the establishment of the Edward A. Diana ’68 Scholarship. The scholarship will go to selected SUNY Orange students who demonstrate community service and financial need. The goal is to raise $100,000 and award the first scholarships in the fall of 2015. Coordinating the effort is 2001 SUNY Orange Alumni Carmen R. Dubaldi, Jr., who for 20 years has worked for the County of Orange as a safety specialist. The idea for the scholarship fund came from Danielle Diana-Smith, daughter of former County Executive Diana.

To make a donation to the Edward A. Diana ’68 Scholarship, make checks payable to "SUNY Orange Foundation" and mail to Citizens for Diana, Post Office Box 454, Goshen, New York, 10924. For more information, call (845) 863-6171 or e-mail
