Local Teens Develop and Design PSA

POUGHKEEPSIE - The Youth Health Promoters of Planned Parenthood Mid-Hudson Valley, a group of high school students from across Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster counties, have once again created two Public Service Announcements aimed at teens, parents, and community agencies alike.

The first, entitled "Talk Before It’s Too Late," is a silent but moving story underscoring the importance of open communication between parents and their children about life changes and choices. The second, entitled "Life Comes with Choices," explores two separate, parallel life paths of a young girl becoming sexually active for the first time.

From start to finish, they wrote scripts, auditioned for roles, designed costumes, perfected makeup and hairstyles, and filmed and edited two incredibly powerful PSAs.
