Three Boys Awarded Cub Scouting’s Highest Honor

NEW WINDSOR - On Saturday, February 22, 2014 Cub Scout pack 28 New Windsor proudly awarded The Arrow of light award to 3 of our Webelo Scouts. The arrow of light award is the highest honor that a boy can earn in the Cub Scouts and is the only Cub Scout award that he may wear on His boy scout uniform. Pictured from left to right are Jacob Reynolds, Daniel Jusino, and Jacob Tigar. With them is Den Leader Jamie Tigar and Cub Master Jim Gucciardo. The Cub Master stated "We are all very proud of our boys who have worked so hard to achieve their goals. I’m also very pleased that they all chose to continue Their Scouting journey by joining the ranks of the Boy Scouts in Troop 28 in New Windsor. It is my hope that they follow this trail to the end as well so that one day they may soar with the eagles.
