Christmas Caroling Tradition Continues

NEWBURGH- The Ferry Godmother hosted the 8th annual holiday tradition, Ferry Godmother Christmas Caroling Series 2013.  It was held on Wednesday, December 19th  on the Newburgh waterfront at Newburgh-Beacon landing.  There was a special appearance by The Merry Minstrels, an acapella quartet, complete in Victorian costume.

Each year the event, free and open to the public, includes chestnuts, hot chocolate and other goodies which the community and ferry riders enjoy as they disembark the Newburgh Beacon Ferry.  Friends, family and community were invited to sing along with choirs from various churches or to simply enjoy traditional Christmas songs by the Merry Minstrels.
