NEWBURGH - "Children are our most valuable natural resource"
- Herbert Hoover.
The City of Newburgh called Saturday, May 4th, "a day to celebrate the City of Newburgh’s own most valuable natural resource - our young people." In keeping with that theme, the City of Newburgh Youth Bureau celebrated its Eighth Annual Youth Pride Day.
The event kicked off with the Youth Pride Parade at noon on Richman Avenue, which travelled down South Street to the parking lot across from the library located on Grand Street.
There were plenty of activities and fun for all awaiting them following the parade.
