FISHKILL - Town
of Fishkill Supervisor Bob LaColla declared a state of emergency for the Town
of Fishkill at 11:00am. During the state of emergency, all non-essential
vehicles are urged to stay off of all town roads for the safety of motorists
and to provide safer conditions for emergency responders and utility crews.
The
Town of Fishkill Police has assigned extra personal and patrols during the
storm. Fishkill Highway Department has staged equipment in strategic locations
for faster response.
Supervisor
LaColla will be having a conference call with Central Hudson Gas & Electric
at 2:00pm
Town of Fishkill is coordinating with Dutchess
County and Red Cross of Dutchess County on sheltering needs.
Residents may phone Dutchess County 211 for additional
information about shelters openings, dry ice locations and storm related
updates.

information will be available on the Town of Fishkill website at www.fishkill-ny.gov
or by calling (845) 831-7800 extension 3351.
It is anticipated Interstate 84 and/or
Newburgh-Beacon Bridge will close or have restrictions due to high winds.
