McQuade Names Vice President of Development



Nicole Gjokaj, of Newburgh, has recently been promoted to Vice President of Development at McQuade Children’s Services in New Windsor .

New Windsor - McQuade Children’s Services is pleased to announce the promotion of Nicole Carroll Gjokaj to Vice President of Development. Gjokaj has lead McQuade’s fundraising efforts since joining the agency as Director of Development in 2005. In that position, she demonstrated great success in fund development, including the acquisition of major gifts and grants, launch of McQuade’s Capital Campaign, and establishment of an in-kind donation program.

As Vice President of Development, Gjokaj will continue to build on her proven record of success and will further enhance McQuade’s fundraising efforts. “It is with great pleasure that I announce the promotion of Nicole Gjokaj to Vice President of Development,” said Dr. David E. Jacobsen, President and CEO of McQuade Children’s Services. “She is an energetic, seasoned development professional and has truly demonstrated her commitment to the mission and vision of McQuade,” Jacobsen continued. “Under her leadership, the agency’s fundraising efforts have increased significantly. She has worked hard to earn this new position and I wish her much continued success.”

Gjokaj, a resident of Newburgh , served as Development Officer at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital prior to joining McQuade Children’s Services. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton and received a Masters Degree from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg , Virginia .

Gjokaj is actively involved in many fundraising professional organizations, including Association of Fundraising Professionals, Hudson Valley Chapter, Hudson Valley Association of Development Officers, and the Planned Giving Council of the Mid-Hudson Valley in which she serves as Executive Committee Secretary.
