Gary Coleman Dead at 42

Actor Gary Coleman died on Friday, May 28, 2010.

Gary Wayne Coleman was an actor who was best known for his childhood role as Arnold Jackson in the American sitcom Diff’rent Strokes. His most famous line, "What you talkin’ bout Wilis," will live on for generations.

After his successful childhood career, Coleman struggled financially. In 1993, he successfully sued his parents and business adviser over misappropriation of his assets.

Last Wednesday, Coleman was admitted to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah, after falling and hitting his head and suffering an epidural hematoma at his home. He was said to be in critical condition on that day.

Thursday, it was announced that his condition had worsened and by that afternoon he was on life support. The next day, life support was stopped and Coleman died. He was 42.
