Newburgh - The Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra, in collaboration with the City of Newburgh, presents "Summer Pops at Downing", a free concert in Downing Park, Newburgh, on Saturday, July 26th at 4:00 p.m. The "Kiddie Conductors," children from the audience invited to conduct the orchestra, are featured along with Guest Conductor Richard Haglund. Soloists are Anthony Daino, tenor; Michele George, vocalist; and Steven Luck, trumpet, in a performance of Ballade for Trumpet and Orchestra by Steve Margoshes.
