Museum hosts Dragonfly Day

Cornwall - On Saturday, June 28th at 10 a.m., the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum will be hosting "Dragonfly Day" at the Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center, 20 Kenridge Farm Drive, Route 9W, Cornwall. This learning experience comes with the added bonus of supporting scientists in their endeavors. Participants will learn the basics of dragonfly anatomy, their life cycle, feeding habits and species identification, as well as walking the fields of the Outdoor Discovery Center to identify these jewels of the wetlands and meadows. Rare species will be reported to the New York State Dragonfly and Damselfly survey.

For more information call (845) 534-5506, ext 204 or visit the museum’s website at www.hhnaturemuseum.org.
