Students from the New York area are among 100 teens selected to participate in Disney Dreamers Academy with Steve Harvey and ESSENCE at Walt Disney World this weekend, which kicked off its 10th annual event on Thursday. The students were selected from thousands of applicants nationwide and they, along with a parent or guardian, received an all-expense-paid trip to Walt Disney World to participate in the event.

The educational mentoring program, which runs through Sunday, features immersive career-oriented workshops, lessons on leadership skills and networking strategies, and insight from celebrity guests including Carolina Panthers Quarterback Cam Newton and Empire actor Bryshere Gray.
