Howland set to host a fun night of dancing

BEACON - Get Down for a night of dancing at the Howland Cultural Center on Saturday, November 9th at 8:00 PM. Music, from the 60s to present, is selected for inventive compositions, exciting rhythms and great performances, and includes: Soul, R&B, Funk, Blues, Disco, Rock, Latin, timeless Classics, and your Requests. James Brown, Gap Band, Earth Wind & Fire, Joe Bonamassa, Taj Mahal, Commodores, Michael McDonald, Aretha Franklin, Bob Seger, Curtis Mayfield and El Gran Combo are just a few. Some pieces you will definitely know; others may surprise.

The Howland Cultural Center has brought downtown Beacon to life with colorful, life-enriching events for many years. Now, through a series of monthly dances, it is bringing people together on the dance floor. This culturally historic building with three layers of flooring, enveloping sound, soft lighting, and a warm and intimate ambiance make it the perfect place.
