Newburgh - Ivette Ramirez had a dream of one day owning her own nail salon. A year ago that dream came true for her, with a little help from the people at Gateway to Entrepreneurial Tomorrows, Inc (GET).
A year later she is celebrating the one year anniversary of Classy Nails in the City of Newburgh. On Saturday, friends, family and customers gathered for a small celebration.
"I would like to thank God for giving me the opportunity to be here," Ramirez said. She also thanked her family, friends and clients who have supported her over the past year, while making another announcement. "My next goal is to open a second Classy Nails salon in Ulster County." When the applause settled she continued, "God willing, I’ll be able to accomplish this next goal of mine." |
